Rose Slaton
I make black and gray illustrations using pencil and ink. I focus on Victorian, macabre, Steampunk, spooky, and fantastical themes in my work.
I am interested in inanimate objects, particularly Victorian or industrial themed: mechanical, metal objects such as locomotives, carousels, or machinery are a few of my favorite objects to study and draw.
My goal is to transport the viewer to a place that is fantastical, yet filled with dark, understated things.

I am a fiber and process oriented artist based in Brooklyn, New York. My work utilizes influence from decisions and transitions. I am very interested in the consequences and ripple effects that are caused by choices we make.
Most inspiration comes from vague &vivid memories, photographs, hand me down treasures &stories through my family, childhood stories, children’s books &illustrations, and travelling.
I strive to be completely handmade and self sufficient. I make my own paper from components such as old novels, cotton, and other organic materials. Currently my work has manifested into mixed media working watercolor, ink illustrations, &hand embroidery together to create my pieces.
I want to use my work to develop a deeper connection with my audience, my family, and myself.
Luis Pedraza
My name is Luis, I was born in 1985 and I am currently living in Madrid. I have studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid where I won a few exhibition prizes and imparted extraordinary lectures on rendering, renderers and lighting techniques using 3D Software. Right now I split up my time between the 360º marketing agency CDoble working as creative designer specialized in Visual Merchandising and exhibiton design, and Aerial, my own initiative. My creative interests are hybridations of all kinds, duality and fragmentation as a recurrent theme, and light as narrative technique. Probably my strongest stylistic and philosophic influence is the Renaissance, but Baroque, Art Nouveau and street art Graffiti also influenced the way I use my canvas not as a closed space but making it an active participant of the space surrounding it, and using that space for the work´s benefit. Limitation bores me, so I try to stay fresh with varied themes, canvases and techniques which allow me to achieve my goals, from physics or hydraulics to arquitecture, music or psicology to philosphy, video games and literature.
