My work is a compilation of illusive realities, inspired by real world encounters, daydreams and nightmares, children’s television programs, and people. By encompassing both traditional and digital mediums into my work, I am able to create abstracted actualities, heightening the sense of imagination and expression of creative power. My intent is to look beyond what we see daily through our own two eyes and to instead look into our mind’s eye; to encourage the youthful subconscious into the light, and to exploit the curiosity of childish fantasy into our everyday lives.

Inspired to be a rapper/actor, Jared never focused on art. Drawing was only a way to pass time and manage to make it through boring lectures, as well as long flights. Describing his art as “toonish” and later adds that “drawing from my mind is all i know”. Mr. Magers has always been intrigued by japanese art, but it was only after he had the opportunity to visit Japan that he really got to work. A flight home was well enough time to create a few of his masterpieces. Jared explains that there is no pre conceived notion of what the piece is going to look like when its finished. “I simply capture my emotions and create art”. Welcome to the world of ENZYMEZ.
