My son found a skull in the neighborhood, so we built a tree house to go with it and drilled peepholes through the skull sockets. That pretty much sums it up. That, and I’m a librarian.

My name is Heidi DeGuzman. I am a mother of twin boys, Mason & Dylan, and a wife to my amazing husband Al. I couldn’t ask for better family or friends. I am a Registed Nurse with a BSN, although I am currently “working” as a mom and artist. Art is my passion! I spend time each day working on drawings and doodles. I also enjoy a lot of types of music and find listening to it while I draw very inspiring. I love sitting in a coffee shop, sketchbook, pen, music and find hours have passed without realizing it! It is like a form of “meditation” for me. I love it! I also have done a lot with acrylic paint. I enjoy doing murals, backdrops, and paintings on canvas. Collage and mixed media is also something I enjoy. Although, right now I am primarily drawing!
